Abstract
Description
The present invention essentially relates to a device allowing: - surgeons to perform endoscopic surgical work more easily and more precisely namely as the 2 hands of surgeons in internal organs. - industrial technicians to work in all hard-to-reach places and especially all places where the technician's hands can not go.
The problem: All the forceps that exist on the market and that are intended for a surgical use as industrial have a maximum of three fingers, which causes the following difficulties: - The hands of the surgeon are not free to control and handle the elements in internal organs. - Technicians are not free to control and manipulate elements in corners and other hard-to-reach places. Hollow or flat spiral clamp with multiple fingers (5 or more). The present invention is a clinical and industrial instrument that introduces, will be like the 2 hands of the surgeon inside the patient's body if this forceps is hollow. If the surgeon catches both handles of the clamp with one hand, the other hand can enter and exit the instruments that may be located in the hole of this clamp such as an endoscope, for example, or any instrument for industrial use. This clamp can be manufactured on different diameters and different widths. It can be assigned to different uses. Thus, for the first time, the surgeon has the freedom to introduce his 2 hands inside the human body and to access the narrowest places of the patient's body, while reserving the possibility of maneuvering in all tranquility. This clamp comprising: - two handles like the two handles of scissors: one small attached to the body of the clamp and the other large which has a freedom of movement backwards and forwards using a pin attached to the body of the clamp. two hollow and flexible spirals of two different diameters: an outer and an inner one arranged one on the other. - a striking head - a mechanism that operates the clamp. The mechanism: This mechanism is provided with: - 2 toothed bars, one of which is fixed above the large handle which actuates a notched wheel - A toothed wheel fixed on an axis itself fixed on the body of the clamp, this wheel notched actuates another toothed bar. - another toothed bar fixed at the bottom of the inner spiral that pulls or releases the multi fingers of the striking head Figure 1: It represents the spiral clamp with all its parts. I- Il montre la spirale extérieure. -3- Les 2 spirales (H, I fig. 1). La spirale extérieure (I fig. I- It shows the outer spiral. J- It shows the head of the pliers The 2 handles: These two handles have the appearance of 2 handles of scissors (A, B Fig. 1): -the small for a finger fixed on the body of the pliers (A fig 1). - a large handle with a toothed rail that is part of the mechanism (B Fig. 1). This large handle is equipped with 4 fingers and has a freedom of movement backwards and forwards thanks to a fixed axis located on the body of the clamp. -3- The two spirals (H, I Fig. 1): These two spirals are hollow and flexible, they are of two different diameters, one located on the other (an outside (I Fig. 1) and an inner one (H Fig. 1) The outer spiral (I Fig. 1) goes from the body of the forceps to the body of the striking head of the forceps (J Fig. 1) .The inner spiral (H Fig. 1) goes from multiple fingers of the striking head (J Fig. 1) of the forceps to the outside of the opening (G Fig. 1) of the clamp body. This clamp is provided with two openings, one on the back of the body of the forceps (G Fig. 1), and the other on the back of the inner spiral (F Fig. 1) 10 The opening (G Fig. 1) on the back of the body The inner diameter of the pliers has the same diameter as that of the outside of the inner spiral (H Fig. 1), and this inner spiral moves forward and backward with the toothed bar (I Fig. 1), and is hollow-cast to be able to introduce another forceps, an endoscope, or any other instrument 15 Important If both handles (A, B fig. 1) of the forceps are in the open position, the inner spiral (H Fig. 1) advances, the fingers of the striking head (J Fig. 1) are in the open position, and the inner spiral (H Fig. 1) leaves the body of the 5mm clamp. And if the 2 handles of the clamp (A, B Fig. 1) are in the closed position the inner spiral 20 is glued and leaves the opening (G Fig. 1) of the body of the clamp more than 5mm, the spiral pulls the fingers of the head of the clamp, and the clamp is in the closed position. The exit of the spiral of 5mm makes it possible to leave easily the opening of the clamp. The spiral is freely moving forwards and backwards, and on both positions. The head of the clamp: This head is provided with two parts, an inner and an outer. The inner part is attached to one side of the inner spiral and is provided on the other side of a channel to actuate multiple fingers. The outer part of the head of this clamp is attached to the outer spiral of this clamp on one side and is provided on the other side with 5 hinges and more multiple fingers divided into two halves. Figure 2 -4- It represents the gripping head of the forceps with both the inner and outer parts. A- It shows the outer part with two hinges B- It shows the inner part with its channel that actuates multiple fingers The fingers of the head of the clamp: These fingers include 2 sides that are at right angles, a small side and a large interconnected by one half of the hinge. The big side of the finger is the one that grabs. The small side is the one that receives the movement of the inner part of the head and more precisely the circular channel around the inner part.
The small side of the finger is housed inside this circular canal with 2 wings which are provided with 3 bearings each to activate it easily. If the surgeon presses both wrists the fingers close and if the surgeon opens both wrists the fingers open. Figure 3: It represents the parts of the multiple fingers A- It shows the large side of the finger of the head of the clamp. B- It shows the small side of the finger of the head of the clamp which is provided with 2 rails. C- It shows half of the hinge of the finger of the head of the clamp. D- He shows the tooth of the finger.
E- It shows the 2 wings of the small side of the fingers which are provided with 3 bearings of the head of the clamp F- It shows the gripping head of the clamp in closed position. G- It shows the gripping head of the clamp in the open position. The operations of the head of the clamp.
If the surgeon squeezes the large handle (A) on the small handle (B), the toothed bar of the handle (B) moves forward and activates the toothed wheel (D) which moves the other toothed bar (E) attached to the inner spiral (H) backward and closes the fingers of the gripping head of the clamp. And if the surgeon releases the handles (B) the toothed bar (C) which is fixed on the handle (B) moves back and actuates the toothed wheel (D) which is located above it, which causes the 2nd bar toothed (E), the latter being fixed under the inner spiral (H) which moves backwards; and if the inner spiral moves backwards, the fingers of the striking head close. r
