Abstract

The face has a bumper skin (3) constituted by a thin plastic layer, and a solid ornamental accessory (5) comprising a thin chromium layer (37) that partially covers a portion of a plastic material (35). Face avant de véhicule automobile avec un accessoire ornemental La présente invention concerne en général la fixation des accessoires ornementaux sur les faces avant de véhicules automobiles. Plus précisément, l'invention concerne une face avant de véhicule automobile, du type comprenant une peau de pare-chocs et un accessoire ornemental. Les véhicules automobiles comportent généralement sur leurs faces avant un accessoire ornemental symbolisant la marque du véhicule. Cet accessoire présente une base dont le contour en sortie de moule peut comporter des irrégularités et des bavures. Quand l'accessoire est chromé, la couche de chrome amplifie encore les irrégularités. De manière à conférer un aspect régulier à la base de l'accessoire ornemental, il est nécessaire de poncer les accessoires de manière à enlever les bavures. Cette opération augmente le coût de production des accessoires ornementaux, et donc le coût des faces avant. Dans ce contexte, l'invention vise à proposer une face avant qui soit moins coûteuse. A cette fin, l'invention porte sur une face avant du type précité, caractérisé en ce que la peau de pare-chocs comprend un relief en creux présentant une zone de réception de forme correspondant sensiblement à celle de l'accessoire ornemental, l'accessoire ornemental étant engagé dans la zone de réception.
