The invention relates to devices intended to obscure the panoramic windows of certain motor vehicles by means of two curtains whose slidings. are coupled and in opposite directions. Panoramic window means any transparent element (glass or synthetic material) installed in a roof, or constituting at least part of a roof, of a motor vehicle. Therefore, it may be a panoramic roof (also called cielo), or a sunroof, possibly sliding. As known to those skilled in the art, some panoramic windows of a motor vehicle are equipped with a concealment device comprising two curtains whose sliding are coupled and in opposite directions through a single motor. Such an occulting device is for example described in patent document FR 2861653. It more precisely comprises two curtains each comprising first and second end edges (opposite each other), and drive means comprising the motor and acting on first and second cables, each of which connects a first side of the first end edge of one of the two curtains to a second side, opposite to the first side, of the first end edge of the another curtain, to slide the curtains opposite two parts of the panoramic window in opposite directions. The main disadvantage of this type of device lies in the fact that its drive means must be placed at a distance after the roller which is secured to the second end edge of one of the two rollers. Therefore, it is poorly adapted, or even unsuitable in the case of a panoramic sky roof type, sliding curtains in a direction parallel to the transverse direction of a motor vehicle. In addition, it requires that the cables pass on either side of one of the two curtains, which increases the size in the direction perpendicular to the direction of sliding and makes it almost impossible to use rails for guiding the side edges of the curtains. The invention therefore aims to improve the situation, and in particular to allow an implementation allowing a sliding of the curtains in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle. To this end, it proposes a concealment device of the type presented in the introductory part and in which: the driving means comprise a wheel installed between the first end edges of the two curtains and intended to be rotated by a motor, the first cable comprises first and second ends respectively connected to the same first side of the first end edges of the curtains, and the second cable comprises first and second ends respectively connected to the same second side, opposite the first side. , first end edges of the curtains, and - the first and second cables comprise intermediate portions adapted to be driven in opposite directions by the wheel so that a curtain is pulled when the other curtain is pushed.
The concealment device according to the invention can comprise other characteristics that can be taken separately or in combination, and in particular: each wheel can be arranged in the form of a drive pinion, and the intermediate portion of each cable may comprise an external thread adapted to mesh the teeth of the drive sprocket in order to be able to be driven by meshing; it may comprise two pairs of guide rails intended to be fixed substantially parallel to each other to the vehicle and to receive, for the purpose of sliding, the lateral edges of the curtains, opposite and substantially perpendicular to the first and second edges; end; it may comprise two rotary rollers intended to be mounted on the vehicle under an elastic restoring force and to which the second end edges of the curtains are respectively secured; - The rotating rollers may be installed in the vicinity of the ends of the pairs of guide rails which are located opposite the ends which are located in the vicinity of the wheel.
Other features and advantages of the invention will appear on examining the detailed description below, and the accompanying drawings, in which: - Figure 1 illustrates schematically in a sectional view in a transverse plane of a motor vehicle, an exemplary embodiment of a concealment device according to the invention installed in front of a panoramic roof of the vehicle, and - Figure 2 schematically illustrates, in a view from below (the opposite side to the panoramic roof), the device The accompanying drawings may not only serve to complete the invention, but may also contribute to its definition, as the case may be. FIGS. 1 and 2 show schematically an exemplary embodiment, not limiting, of a concealment device D according to the invention, fixed on the SV structure of a motor vehicle, inside the passenger compartment. of the latter, so as to hide at least a portion of a panoramic window TP. In this non-limiting example, the panoramic window TP is a panoramic roof, for example of the cielo type. But, the invention is not limited to this type of panoramic window. It concerns indeed, any transparent element (glass or synthetic material) installed in a roof, or constituting at least part of a roof, of a motor vehicle. Therefore, it may also be a sunroof, possibly sliding, for example. The concealment device D according to the invention comprises at least two curtains Rj (j = 1 and 2), drive means G and AX, and two cables Ci (i = 1 and 2). As will be seen later it is also preferable that it comprise two pairs Mj (j = 1 and 2) of guide rails (or slides) RGkj parallel to facilitate the sliding coupled curtains Rj in front of the inner face of the roof panoramic TP. In what follows, by way of nonlimiting example, the curtains R1 and R2 (Rj) are intended to slide in a so-called transverse direction DT because it is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, so as to hide respectively right and left parts of the panoramic roof TP, for example located above the two front seats of the vehicle. But, the invention is not limited to this type of implantation. Indeed, it also relates and in particular implantations allowing a sliding of the curtains R1 and R2 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. In the case of an implantation allowing a sliding of the curtains R1 and R2 in the transverse direction of the vehicle, it will be understood that the guide rails RGkj of each pair Mj are fixed to the structure SV of the vehicle in the vicinity of transverse edges of the panoramic roof. TP and / or on the inner face of the latter in the transverse direction DT of the vehicle. Note that the transverse edges are those that are substantially parallel to the transverse direction DT of the vehicle. Each curtain Rj comprises: a first end edge BEI adapted to be displaced by the drive means G, via the two cables Cij, so as to be immobilized in a selected occultation position, a second edge of end (not shown), opposite the first BEI, for example secured to a rotating roller RRj (as illustrated), and - two lateral edges BL, substantially perpendicular to the first BEI and second end edges, oriented substantially in the transverse direction DT of the vehicle in the nonlimiting example described, and intended to slide in the guide rails RGkj of one of the two pairs Mj. Each rotary roller RRj (optional) is intended to allow the winding (arrow F1 or F1 ') / unfolding (arrow F2 or F2'), under a 3o elastic restoring force, of one of the two curtains R1 and R2 ( Rj). It is for example installed in a housing secured to the structure SV of the vehicle and / or the inner face of the panoramic roof TP, in the vicinity of the end of a pair Mj of guide rails RGkj which is opposite the end which is located in the vicinity of the drive means G, and perpendicular to said guide rails RGkj. The elastic return force is for example obtained by means of at least one spiral spring which can be installed at one end of the rotating roller RRj. For example, each spiral spring has a first end attached to the frame of the device D and a second end attached to the cylinder of the rotating roller RRj. It will be understood that with the example of implantation which is described the axis of rotation of each rotating roller RRj is substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. According to the invention and as illustrated in FIG. 1, the drive means comprise a wheel G which is fixedly mounted on an axis AX which is intended to be rotated by a motor MR, according to the arrow F3 or F4 according to the needs. Note that the MR motor may optionally be part of the device D. The AX axis is preferably installed in a substantially vertical direction (perpendicular to the longitudinal and transverse directions DT of the vehicle), so that the wheel G is installed in a plane substantially parallel to the plane defined by the longitudinal and transverse directions DT of the vehicle. Still according to the invention and as illustrated in FIG. 2, each cable Ci (C1 and C2) comprises a first end E1 which is connected to a first or second side of the first end edge BEI of a curtain Rj, and a second end E2 which is connected to the same first or second side of the first end edge BEI of the other curtain Rj '. More specifically: the first cable C1 comprises a first end E1 which is connected to a first side of the first end edge BEI of the curtain R1, and a second end E2 which is connected to this same first side of the first end edge. BEI curtain R2, and - the second cable C2 comprises a first end E1 which is connected to a second side, opposite the first side, of the first end edge BEI of the curtain R1, and a second end E2 which is connected to this same second side of the first end edge BEI of the curtain R2. Here is meant by side of a first end edge BEI an area at one end of a first end edge BEI, in the vicinity of a guide rail RGkj. Thus, in the nonlimiting example illustrated, the first side is that which is located on the side of a guide rail RG2j and the second side is that which is located on the side of a guide rail RG1j. Moreover, the first C1 and second C2 cables comprise intermediate portions P11 which are intended to be driven in opposite directions by the wheel G, and more precisely by diametrically opposite sides of the latter. It is important to note that the driving directions of the cables Ci are defined with respect to the wheel G. Thus, when a curtain, for example R1, is pulled (arrow F1) because of the rotation drive following a first direction (arrow F3) of the intermediate portion PI1 of the first cable C1 by a first side of the wheel G, the other curtain, for example R2, is simultaneously pushed (arrow F1 ') due to the following rotation drive this same first direction (arrow F3) of the intermediate portion PI2 of the second cable C2 by a second side of the wheel G, diametrically opposite to its first side. Conversely, when a curtain, for example R1, is pushed (arrow F2) due to the rotation drive in a second direction (arrow F4) of the intermediate portion PI1 of the first cable C1 by the first side of the wheel G the other curtain, for example R2, is simultaneously pulled (arrow F2 ') because of the rotation drive along the same second direction (arrow F4) of the intermediate portion PI2 of the second cable C2 by the second side of the G. wheel
The drive means thus act on the two cables Ci in order to slide the two curtains Rj facing the panoramic roof TP, simultaneously and in a coupled manner along (here) the transverse direction DT of the vehicle and in opposite directions (F1 and F'1) or (F2 and F'2), and possibly so that they are wound on or unwound from their respective rotating rollers RRj. In the presence of the two pairs Mj of guide rails RGkj, the first and second sides of the first end edge BEI of each curtain Rj are located inside the guide rails RGkj. Consequently: the first end E1 of the first cable C1 slides inside the guide rail RG21 according to (here) the transverse direction DT so as to pull (arrow F1) or push (arrow F2) the first end edge BEI of the first curtain R1 at its first side, - the first end E1 of the second cable C2 slides inside the guide rail RG11 according to (here) the transverse direction DT so as to pull (arrow F1) or push ( arrow F2) the first end edge BEI of the first curtain R1 at its second side, - the second end E2 of the first cable C1 slides inside the guide rail RG22 according to (here) the transverse direction DT so pushing (arrow F1 ') or pulling (arrow F2') the first end edge BEI of the second curtain R2 at its first side, and - the second end E2 of the second cable C2 slides inside the rail of RG12 guidance next (here) the d transverse irection DT so as to push (arrow F1 ') or shoot (arrow F2') the first end edge BEI second curtain R2 at its second side. To achieve this result: - an end portion of the first cable Cl slides inside the guide rail RG21 above or below (as shown in Figure 1) of a first lateral edge BL of the first curtain R1, while that the opposite end portion of the first cable C1 slides inside the guide rail RG22 in the extension of the first lateral edge BL of the second curtain R2, - an end portion of the second cable C2 slides inside the guide rail RG11 above or below (as shown in Figure 1) a second side edge BL (opposite the first) of the first curtain R1, while the opposite end portion of the second cable C2 slides inside the guide rail RG12 in the extension of the second lateral edge BL of the second curtain R2, the first cable C1 is bent, starting from the end of the guide rail RG21 which is situated on the side of the rotary roller RR1, in the direction of the end of the rail of gu RG11 which is located on the side of the rotary roller RR1, then bypasses this end so as to follow said outer side guide rail RG11, then is bent again, from the other end of the guide rail RG11 which is located from side of the wheel G, towards the first side of the wheel G to contact it, and finally again curved towards the end of the guide rail RG22 which is located on the side of the wheel G, and - the second C2 cable is curved, from the end of the guide rail RG11 which is located on the side of the rotary roller RR1, towards the end of the guide rail RG21 which is located on the side of the rotary roller RR1, then along said RG21 guide rail on the inner side, then is bent again, from the other end of the guide rail RG21 which is located on the side of the wheel G, towards the second side of the wheel G to contact it, and finally again recou rbé towards the end of the guide rail RG12 which is located on the side of the wheel G. The cables Ci can be driven by the wheel G by meshing.
In this case, each cable Ci is provided with an external spiral (constituting a thread) and is guided in a sheath GC, and the wheel G is in the form of a drive pinion (or gear) whose teeth mesh the external spirals (threads) of the two cables Ci at its first and second diametrically opposite sides. In this embodiment, it may be advantageous to provide, in addition, guiding means for pressing the cables Ci against the peripheral edge of the wheel G. In an alternative embodiment, the cables Ci can be driven by friction by the wheel G, possibly by means of guiding means for pressing against the peripheral edge of said wheel G.
The invention thus allows not only any type of implantation, and in particular an implementation allowing a coupled sliding curtains in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle, but also a reduction in size. The invention is not limited to the embodiments of obscuration device described above, only by way of example, but it encompasses all the variants that may be considered by those skilled in the art within the scope of the claims herein. -after.
