Abstract

The invention relates to a method, software and a computer system for generating three-dimensional geological systems, in particular a reservoir, wherein said method comprises the following steps: providing a set of proportional models, each of said proportional models including uvw cells to which are associated respective values of facies occurrence probabilities, said values defining a set of probability values; estimating (S100) for each cell a facies probability distribution rule from the sets of probability values so that each of the estimated rules corresponds to the set of provided models; extracting from the initially provided proportional models or providing space consistency data; creating (S200) a new set of proportional models from the estimated rules of facies probability distribution, including the drawing of new facies probabilities for each of the cells, the drawing being further limited by space consistency data; and creating (S300) a new set of geological models by stochastic simulation of the facies and the petrophysical properties from the new set of proportional models thus created.
