Description

The invention relates to a safety device for personnel working near a mobile machine. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In yards in which one or more mobile machines are in operation, in garbage dumps in which trucks arrive and depart continuously, or in a factory or warehouse where forklifts transport pallets, the question of the safety of personnel working near these mobile machines is of crucial importance. There are various safety systems to warn personnel of the proximity of a mobile machine. For example, mobile machines may be equipped with a gyro or a siren. However, in a noisy environment or in a situation in which several mobile machines are maneuvering simultaneously, these dis-positives may be insufficient. Document US5924651 discloses a safety device comprising a sensor adapted to detect the passage of a train at a determined distance. The sensor generates a warning signal that is transmitted and received by radiofrequency receivers carried by people working near the sensor. The receivers then generate an alarm signal to warn the people of the approach of the train. This system can be thought of as adapting to the mobile machinery and placing on the mobile machine a transmitter which would emit a warning signal which would be picked up by the personal receivers, so that everyone in the vicinity of the mobile machine is warned of Her presence. However, if one of these people working near the mobile device is uncomfortable, injured or stuck so that they can not get away from the mobile device, the proximity of the mobile device makes them 2 run a great danger. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a safety device for personnel working near a mobile machine, to take into account the situation of a person unable to move away from the mobile machine. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION With a view to achieving this object, a safety device is proposed for protecting persons working near a mobile machine, comprising on the one hand at least one first communication element to be connected. -tance intended to be worn by a person likely to work near the mobile machine, and secondly a second remote communication member mounted on the mobile machine, the first communication member and the second communication member being adapted to communicate with each other when the person is in a safety perimeter around the mobile machine, the second communication member being associated with warning means of a driver of the mobile machine the presence of the nobody in the security perimeter in response to the establishment of a communication between the two communication organs. Thus, the driver of the mobile machine is notified of the presence of a person near his mobile machine, and he is led to redouble attention if he does not see this person, or if he realizes that it does not move away from the mobile machine. The driver thus actively ensures the safety of people working near his machine. Thus, compared to the system of US5924651, the safety device of the invention reverses the meaning of the information and is intended to prevent the driver of the mobile machine from the presence of people nearby. However, the invention is perfectly comparable with the device of US5924651, so that both the driver is warned of the presence of people nearby, and these people are warned of the presence of a mobile machine. near.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention will be better understood in the light of the description which follows with reference to the single appended figure showing a mobile machine and persons working nearby, equipped with a safety device according to a particular mode. embodiment of the invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The invention is illustrated here in a site situation on which move mobile machines such as the backhoe 1 maneuvered by a driver 2. People 3 are likely to work near the tractopelle 1. The persons 3 are equipped with a first communication device, here an RFID transponder 5, in the form of a badge securely attached to the clothing of these persons. Alternatively, the RFID transponder 5 may be fixed removably or permanently to a personal security equipment, for example a helmet or a harness, worn by people working near the trestle 1. The tractopelle 1 is equipped with a second communication element, here an RFID transceiver 10 which is connected to a first antenna 11 disposed at the rear of the backhoe 1, and a second antenna arranged at the front of the backhoe 1, so as to cover the two Hazardous areas of backhoe 1 forward and backward. The RFID transceiver 10 permanently transmits a radio frequency safety signal 13 via the antennas 11, 12, whose range is symbolized in FIG. 1. The range of the safety signal 13 defines a safety perimeter of the backhoe 1. Here, the antennas 11, 12 are arranged on the backhoe 1, in protected areas of direct shocks. They are preferably embedded in resin to protect them or, if necessary, placed in non-metallic protective housings. If one of the antennas is placed on a moving part of the backhoe loader 1, for example on one of the arms carrying the shovel, it will be necessary to provide flexible electrical connections protected from shocks. It goes without saying that the RFID transceiver 10 and antennas 11,12 and placed on a construction machine undergo significant mechanical stress, thermal, vibration, and should be taken into account when designing . Preferably, the frequency of the security signal 13 is chosen, to allow this signal to cross many obstacles: cardboard, plastics, human body, over distances of the order of at least a few meters ...

In this figure, one of the persons 3 (on the right of the figure) is out of range of the security signal 13 transmitted by the RFID transceiver 10. Its RFID transponder 5 therefore does not receive the security signal 13 On the other hand, the other person 3, to the left of the cable, is within the range of the security signal 13. Its RFID transponder 5 thus receives the security signal 13, and in response sends back a signal of warning 14 which is picked up by the antenna 12. The RFID transponder 5 comprises an antenna which receives the safety signal 13 and which, by induction, generates a supply current of the RFID transponder 5. Communication is then established between the RFID transponder 5 and the RFID transceiver 10. The RFID transceiver 10 has a display means 12 for displaying to the driver 2 information of presence of a person in the perimeter of the vehicle. Backhoe 1 safety in response to the establishment of the communication between the RFID transponder 5 and the RFID transceiver 10. 5 The driver's attention 2 is then drawn to the presence of a person near the backhoe 1. It is therefore necessary that the driver visually mark this no one and do not lose sight of him during his maneuvers. If he does not see it, the driver has the power to stop his machine to locate the person and check that he is in a position to move away. According to one particular aspect of the invention, the RFID transceiver 10 is adapted to communicate with a plurality of RFID transponders 5. Advantageously, the warning signals 14 delivered by the different RFID transponders 5 comprise identification information enabling the RFID transceiver 5 to communicate with each other. RFID transceiver 10 to identify the carriers of the RFID transponders 5 with which it communicates.

This device is particularly advantageous in situations where the tractopelle 1 picks up detritus that can hide the presence of a person. This person can not see the backhoe loader, do not be suspicious. The driver may then, by maneuvering the shovel, to touch or even hurt that person, without neither the driver nor the person was aware of the danger. According to a particular aspect of the invention, the RFID transponder 5 is arranged to emit an alarm signal to its bearer when it receives the security signal 13. The alarm signal can be a sound signal, a signal visual, or a vibration that the person feels through his clothes. Ain-si, the person carrying the RFID transponder 5 knows that it is in the safety perimeter of the plotter 1, even if it does not see it. The invention is not limited to what has just been described, but on the contrary covers any variant falling within the scope defined by the claims. In particular, although the device of the invention makes use of RFID technology, it will of course be possible to use other technologies. In particular, it can be provided that the first communication member, which is worn by a person working near the mobile machine, is a transmitter, while the second communication member, the one mounted on the mobile machine, is a receiver adapted to receive a warning signal issued by the first communication member. In this case, the safety perimeter around the mobile machine is defined by the range of the transmitter. Although it has been indicated that the second communication element is associated with driver warning means in the form of a display screen, warning means may be provided replacing or replacing the display screen, as a warning light or sound. Although it has been indicated that the antennas associated with the second communication member are placed in front of and behind the mobile machine, other locations may be provided, for example antennas placed on the side of the mobile machine. to improve the angular coverage of the security perimeter.
