Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a support for a front seat of a motor vehicle.
With reference to FIG. 1, the front seat 1 of a motor vehicle is mounted on a support 2 secured to the floor 3 of this motor vehicle. For this purpose, the frame of the seat 1 is mounted on shafts 4 allowing the sliding of the seat 1 relative to the floor 3, by means of sliding rails (not shown). In order to preserve a passenger transported in the seat 1 during a collision (side, front ...) of the vehicle, some vehicles are provided with a deformable floor 3.
By its deformation, such a floor 3 absorbs energy from shock and thus preserves the integrity of the passenger. However, technical and / or economic constraints may require the renewal of a type of floor used in a first vehicle, for the design of a second type of vehicle. In this case, the second type of vehicle may not absorb enough energy in case of shock or fail to meet all the regulatory criteria associated with shocks or severe life situations. The present invention aims to remedy this disadvantage. Therefore, it relates to a support for a motor vehicle seat comprising stretches, substantially parallel, intended to be connected on the one hand to the floor of a vehicle and, secondly, to a seat of the vehicle, characterized in that this support comprises two crosspieces such that each cross member, substantially perpendicular to the shafts, is fixed to the two shafts so as to form a fixed assembly on the floor, on which the seat is mounted. With such a support, it is possible to increase the preservation of the passenger of a front seat vis-à-vis a shock, including lateral. In fact, a support according to the invention has a better resistance to lateral impact than a known support according to the prior art due to the presence of the crosspieces. In addition, each stretcher is formed by the arrangement of an upper stretcher mounted on a lower stretcher. In one embodiment, at least one cross member is welded to the stretchers. In one embodiment, at least one cross member is welded to the upper stretchers. In one embodiment, the support has guides in the shafts for the passage of the screws 15 for securing the support to its base joined to the floor. In one embodiment, the support comprises a reinforcing element located in at least one stretcher. The invention also relates to a transport vehicle provided with a seat support according to one of the preceding embodiments. The invention will be better understood and other objects, advantages and features will appear more clearly on reading the description which follows and which is made with reference to the appended drawings and in which: FIG. 1, already described, represents a Car seat support according to the prior art, - Figure 2 is a schematic view of the frame of a support according to the invention; - Figure 3 is an exploded view of the frame of the support described in FIG. 4 is a diagram relating to the fixing of a support according to the invention to a base, and FIGS. 5a and 5b are diagrams illustrating the action of the forces on a frame in accordance with FIG. invention in case of shock. There is shown in Figure 2 a seat support 10 of a motor vehicle, this support 10 is sometimes designated podium or seat riser by one skilled in the art. Referring to Figures 2 and 3, a support 10 according to the invention comprises two shafts 8 and 9 directed longitudinally with respect to the front-rear direction of the vehicle. In the remainder of the disclosure, a first stretcher 8 located on the central side of the vehicle is designated inner stretcher 8, and a second stretcher 9 located near the side wall of the vehicle is designated outer stretcher 9. The inner stretcher 8 is constituted of two subassemblies forming an upper stretcher 11 mounted on a lower stretcher 12. Likewise, the outer stretcher 9 consists of two subassemblies forming an upper stretcher 13 mounted on a lower stretcher 14. The lower struts 12 and 14 are intended to be fixed to the floor of a vehicle. Note that the outer stretcher 14 is provided with partitions 17 vis-à-vis the side rails of the vehicle (not shown) to create a stack adapted to the side impact.
More specifically, the front cross member 15 and the transverse rear cross member 16 are substantially parallel to each other and perpendicular to the Thus, the support 10 has an increased resistance to lateral impact as described later with the aid of FIGS. 5a and 5b.
To enhance the resistance of the support to a side impact, the stretcher 8 includes a matting plate 21 while the rear cross member 16 has an internal reinforcement 19 associated with a welded nut 22 which contributes to the attachment of the seat. In this embodiment, this reinforcement 19 consists of a part located inside the housing formed by the walls of the lower stretcher 14 and upper 13. In a similar way, guides 18 - associated with Roman 20 - are provided in front and rear areas of the shafts 8, 9 so as to guide fastening screws introduced through these shafts for their attachment to the floor 3. The guides 18 and delimit the passage of the screws and prevent them from getting lost in the body the hollow formed by each stretcher 8, 9. Through these guides 18, the support 15 can be connected to a base 25 secured to the floor 26 as shown in FIG. 4. Finally, a seat 27 can be arranged on the support by screwing on the upper stretchers as shown in this figure 4.
In fact, as shown in FIG. 5a, the action undergone by the support 10 during a frontal impact propagates 25 arrows represented in the longitudinal direction of the shafts. As a result, this energy is absorbed by the lower shafts 12 and 14, the upper shafts 11 and 13, the Roman shafts 20 and the matting plate 21.
Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 5b, the action undergone by the support during a lateral impact propagates-arrows represented-in the front crossmember 15, the rear crossmember 16, the partitions 17 and the reinforcement 19.
