Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the movable seats of a motor vehicle with three doors, and more specifically to the (un) locking devices of such seats. Here is meant movable seat a seat which is located at the front of a vehicle with three doors and whose backrest can be folded forward, possibly at the same time that one moves his seat forward, to allow a passenger to access a seat that is located at the rear of the vehicle. Furthermore, by means of (de) seat locking device is meant a device which is intended to lock (or immobilize) the backrest as well as possibly the seat of a seat in a given position and to unlock (or release) the seat. backrest as well as possibly the seat of said seat so that it can be moved. As known to those skilled in the art, the control of the position of a seat belt relative to a passenger sitting on a movable seat is particularly important because this position influences, on the one hand, the sliding safety belt and therefore the control of its blockage in case of sudden slowdown, and secondly, on the comfort of this passenger.
In order to better control this position, it has been proposed to integrate the winding mechanism of the seat belt inside the seat and to pull out this seat belt by a dedicated orifice installed at a chosen part of the seat. upper seat back. This solution is advantageous because the seat belt absolutely does not hinder access to the rear seats and it makes it possible to be sure that the upper part of the safety belt is always coming from the same place. But, this solution is quite expensive.
A less expensive alternative is to install a seatbelt guide in the top of the movable seat backrest. For example, as described in patent document DE 19838930, a hook-shaped actuator (or control) can be rotatably mounted on the upper part of the backrest and a hook-like tab can also be fixed next to this actuator. The shapes of the two hooks are chosen so as to jointly define a substantially closed housing when the actuator is in a raised position in which it locks the seat and an open housing when the actuator is in a lowered position in which it unlocks the seat . It will be understood that when the actuator is in its raised position the seat belt can slide inside the closed housing, while when the actuator is in its lowered position the seat belt can be removed from the open housing. The disadvantage of this solution lies in the fact that the seat belt can remain housed between the tab and the actuator when the latter is in its lowered position, which can prevent folding back and requires the passenger who wishes to access a rear seat to remove the seat belt open housing. In addition, there is a risk that the arm of a user grips in the strap.
The invention therefore aims to improve the situation. It proposes for this purpose an actuator dedicated to the (un) locking of a motor vehicle seat, and intended to be installed in the vicinity of an upper corner of the seat back on the side which is oriented towards the bodywork of the vehicle, and to be placed manually in first and second offset positions to respectively control the locking and unlocking of the seat. This actuator is characterized in that it comprises, below a part dedicated to the gripping, a housing which has a substantially closed or open downward appearance depending on whether the actuator is placed in its first or second position , so as respectively to guide a seat belt that is attached to the body or allow the extraction (from below) of the seat belt. The actuator according to the invention may comprise other characteristics which may be taken separately or in combination, and in particular: its housing may be delimited at least by an upper wall, a first leg having a free end and intended to be placed on the body side, and a second lug intended to be placed on the opposite side to the bodywork; the first leg may have a shape which is chosen so as to facilitate the sliding and extraction of the safety belt; the first leg can be flexible; o the first tab may for example have at its 1 o connection with the gripping portion, at least on the side which is oriented towards the interior of the housing, a thickness which is reduced to allow it to bend inwards housing in case of pressure to place the seat belt inside the housing; the second leg may comprise an end portion which is located opposite the gripping portion and which is responsible for controlling the locking or unlocking of the seat; - The end portion of the second leg can be rotatably mounted on a mechanism (de) locking seat; it may comprise a rigid armature which at least partially defines the gripping portion and the second leg; - The gripping portion may comprise a central zone which is recessed so as to allow its gripping by fingers of one hand. The invention also proposes a device for (de) locking a motor vehicle seat, intended to be installed in the vicinity of an upper corner of the seat back on the side facing the vehicle body, and comprising a mechanism for unlocking the vehicle seat. seat coupled to an actuator of the type shown above. This device may for example comprise a casing intended to be secured to the seat, and comprising, on the one hand, an outer face delimiting a lower part of the housing of the actuator, placed substantially in front of the upper wall, when the actuator is in its first position, and secondly, an internal recessed portion in which a lower portion of the second
The invention also provides a movable seat equipped with a (de) locking device of the type shown above. Other features and advantages of the invention will appear on examining the detailed description below, and the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 schematically illustrates, in a front view, a part of a seat equipped with an exemplary embodiment of a (de) locking device according to the invention with a materialization of the locking positions (PV) and unlocking (PD) of its manual actuator, - Figure 2 illustrates so schematically, in a partially sectional view, the part of the seat of FIG. 1, - FIG. 3 schematically illustrates, in a front view, an embodiment of a manual actuator of a (de) device. According to the invention, FIG. 4A schematically illustrates, in a perspective view, a part of a seat equipped with an exemplary embodiment of a (dis) locking device according to the invention in which manual actuator is placed in its locking position (PV) and serves as a guide to the safety belt, - Figure 4B schematically illustrates, in a perspective view, a part of a seat equipped with an embodiment of a device of ( de) lock according to the invention in which the manual actuator is being placed in its unlocking position (PD) and still serves as a guide to the safety belt, - Figure 4C schematically illustrates, in a view in perspective, a part of a seat equipped with an embodiment of a (de) locking device according to the invention in which the manual actuator is placed in its unlocking position (PD) and the seat belt is 4D schematically illustrates, in a perspective view, a part of a seat equipped with an exemplary embodiment of a (dis) locking device according to the invention in which: the manual actuator is pla in its unlocking position (PD) and the seat belt is completely clear of the seat, and - Figure 5 schematically illustrates, in a front view, the part of the seat of Figure 1 during the insertion phase. of the seat belt inside the housing of the manual actuator. The attached drawings may not only serve to complete the invention, but also contribute to its definition, if any. The object of the invention is to allow, on the one hand, the guiding of the belt of a safety belt by a manual actuator of a (un) locking device when the corresponding movable seat is locked, and on the other hand on the other hand, the automatic release of this safety belt strap towards the bodywork when the manual actuator is placed in a position controlling the unlocking of the seat. In what follows, it is considered by way of non-limiting example that the movable seat is located in a motor vehicle type cut. But, the invention is not limited to this type of motor vehicle. It concerns indeed any type of motor vehicle with three doors (a driver's door, a front passenger door and a trunk door) in which the seat backs located at the front of the passenger compartment can be folded forward, possibly at the same time that the seats are moved forward, to allow passengers to access seats located at the rear of the passenger compartment. It should be noted that in the case of the passenger front seat (at least), the backrest may possibly be completely folded forward so as to form a tablet to increase the loading length and / or use at least one module integrated, such as a cup holder. Note that the invention applies both to a seat dedicated to the driver to a seat dedicated to the front passenger, since the seat is movable (as defined in the introductory part).
As partially illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, a movable seat SE comprises at least one seat (not shown), a recliner DS, and a (un) locking device D, as well as possibly an AT headrest mounted at the end of the top of the DS backrest.
The seat can be moved along the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The DS backrest is rotatably mounted on the seat and can be folded forward (of the vehicle). The (un) locking device D is loaded, on the one hand, to lock (or immobilize) the DS folder as well as possibly the seat in a given position, and on the other hand, to unlock (or release) the DS folder, so that it can be folded forward, and possibly the seat, so that it can be moved forward. As best illustrated in FIG. 2, the (un) locking device D according to the invention comprises at least one manual actuator AM coupled to a (dis) locking mechanism MD (very partially illustrated). The latter is arranged so as, firstly, lock the DS folder in a given position, and possibly the seat in a given position, when the manual actuator AM is placed in a PV lock position, and on the other hand, unlock the DS folder, and possibly the seat, when the manual actuator AM is placed in an unlocking position PD. The invention does not relate to the (de) locking mechanism MD, it will not be described here. But, any type of (de) locking mechanism known to those skilled in the art can be used. It should be noted that the PV lock and unlock PD positions are offset from each other either by a manual rotation drive of the AM actuator (as illustrated) or by a manual translation drive of the AM actuator. . As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the AM actuator is intended to be installed in the vicinity of an upper corner of the SE seat backrest DS, on the side facing the vehicle body, in order to facilitate its actuation. manual by the driver or a passenger. According to the invention, and as illustrated in Figures 1 to 3, the AM actuator comprises a gripping portion PP (or handle) and a housing LO. The gripping portion PP (or handle) is arranged to facilitate the gripping of the AM actuator by fingers of one hand for placement in its PV lock position or PD unlock. For this purpose, and as is better illustrated in Figure 3, the gripping portion PP may for example comprise a frame defining a hollow central zone ZC. In the nonlimiting example illustrated in FIG. 3, the frame PP is substantially in the shape of a shark fin, since it comprises a concave arcuate external portion PAC provided with first and second opposite ends and intended to to be placed on the body side, a concave arc-shaped internal portion PAH provided with first and second opposite ends (the first being connected to the first end of the external portion PAC) and intended to be placed on the opposite side to the bodywork, and a lower part PIC provided with first and second opposite ends respectively connected to the second ends of the inner parts 1 o PAH and external PAC. Note that any other form of gripping portion (or handle) PP may be considered. As illustrated in FIG. 3, the housing LO can for example be delimited on three sides by an upper wall and first P1 and second P2 tabs. The upper wall is for example constituted by the lower part PIC of the frame defining the gripping portion PP. The first leg P1 has a free end and is intended to be placed on the side of the body. It is for example formed in the lower extension of the outer portion PAC of the frame defining the gripping portion PP. The second leg P2 is intended to be placed on the opposite side to the bodywork. It is for example formed in the lower extension of the inner part PAH of the frame defining the gripping portion PP. For example, and as illustrated in FIG. 3, the second tab P2 includes a first end defining an end portion PT placed opposite a second end which is connected to the bottom wall PIC of the frame defining the gripping portion. PP, and intended to be coupled to the (un) locking mechanism MD. In the nonlimiting example illustrated, the terminal portion PT is arranged in the form of a ring so as to be rotatably mounted on an element of the (un) locking mechanism MD. When the AM actuator is placed in its unlocking position PD, its slot LO is open down because it is delimited only by the first P1 and second P2 tabs and the lower part PIC frame PP.
When the AM actuator is placed in its locking position PV, its housing LO is substantially closed because it is delimited by the first P1 and second P2 tabs, the lower part PIC frame PP, and a lower wall. In the nonlimiting example illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, this bottom wall is constituted by the upper part of a casing CA of the (un) locking device D. This casing CA is intended to be secured to the upper part of the SE seat backrest in the area where the AM actuator is to be installed. For example, the housing CA comprises walls which delimit an internal empty space accessible by a central slot defined in an outer face and in which a lower portion of the second leg P2 can be moved between the locking positions PV and unlocking PD. This external face is located substantially opposite the upper wall PIC of the AM actuator, when the latter is placed in its locking position PV, and thus delimits the lower portion of the housing LO of the AM actuator. But, in a variant, the outer face of the upper part of the seat backrest DS SE can delimit the lower part of the housing LO, instead of a housing, when the actuator AM is in its locking position PV.
As illustrated in Figure 1, when the housing LO is substantially closed (and therefore the AM actuator is in its locking position PV), it can accommodate the seat belt strap CS which is conventionally fixed in three points of the body of the vehicle. More specifically, the belt of the seat belt CS is guided by this housing LO and can slide inside the latter. When the housing LO opens downwards in its lower part (and therefore the actuator AM is driven to its unlocking position PD), it continues to guide the seat belt strap CS until the it can be disengaged itself by the lower open part of the housing LO under the effect of the tension (or restoring force) imposed by the retractor (attached to the body). The seat belt then being released from the seat SE and the AM actuator now being in its unlocked position, the seat can then be folded forward and possibly translated forward. In other words, the AM actuator has a dual function, namely to enable control of the locking / unlocking of the seat SE and serve as positioning guide to the seat belt CS.
FIGS. 4A to 4D show respectively the guiding phase, two intermediate phases of disengagement and the unlocking phase of the seat. More precisely, FIG. 4A illustrates the actuator AM placed in its locking position PV in which the strap of the safety belt CS is guided inside its housing LO and can slide there optimally. Figure 4B illustrates the AM actuator being moved to its unlocking position PD, at a time when its housing LO still serves as a guide to the seat belt CS. FIG. 4C illustrates the actuator AM at the end of its displacement towards its unlocking position PD, at a moment when the lower part of its housing LO is sufficiently open to allow the extraction (or disengagement) of the safety belt CS. FIG. 4D illustrates the AM actuator placed in its unlocking position PD in which the seat belt strap CS is completely disengaged from the seat SE and thus is placed substantially against the bodywork, thus making it possible to fold the seat towards the seat. before and possibly translate it forward. It will be understood that the first leg P1 has a shape that is chosen to facilitate not only the sliding of the seat belt CS in the housing LO, but also its extraction (or clearance) from the bottom out of this housing LO.
The repositioning of the belt of the safety belt CS inside the housing LO can be done in two ways. A first way is to keep the AM actuator in its unlocking position PD, then pull the belt of the seat belt CS until it is housed inside the housing LO, and finally to reposition the AM actuator in its PV lock position. A second, particularly advantageous, method is to use a first flexible (or flexible) lug P1, preferably only in a direction from the outside to the inside (i.e. from the bodywork to the center of the passenger compartment). In this case, when one wants to reposition the seat belt strap CS inside the housing LO, simply pull the seat belt strap CS until it reaches the level of the first tab P1 (when the actuator AM is in its locking position PV), then push the first tab P1 with the strap so as to bend the first inwards (as shown in Figure 5). Once the strap CS housed in the housing LO, the first leg P1 automatically returns to its initial position (not flexed) because of its elastic nature.
The flexible (or flexible) nature of the first leg P1 can be obtained by any means known to those skilled in the art. By way of nonlimiting example, it can be obtained by arranging the first tab P1 so that it has a reduced thickness at its connection with the gripping portion PP (or handle), at least on the side which is oriented inward of the dwelling LO. Another solution may be to provide an AM actuator whose gripping portion PP and the second leg P2 are substantially more rigid than the first leg P1. To do this, one can for example start from a rigid frame (possibly metallic) which at least partially defines the gripping portion PP and the second leg P2, then place this frame in a mold so as to coat with a synthetic material slightly flexible and thus constitute an AM actuator with flexible first leg P1. It will be noted that the first leg P1 may possibly be made by means of a plastic or metal hinge, and whose opening direction and / or opening angle is (are) preferentially limited. Thanks to the invention, the handle (or gripping portion) PP is now placed above the belt of the safety belt CS, so that said strap is no longer likely to grip the arm of a user. In addition, the release of the strap from the bottom of the AM actuator ensures its automatic release to the body due to the return force that is exerted by the retractor on the strap. The invention is not limited to the embodiments of seat (un) seat locking, (seat) and seat (movable) disengaging device described above, by way of example only, but it encompasses all the variants that may be considered by those skilled in the art within the scope of the claims below.
