Abstract

The device (1) has a screen (10) mounted in a pivoting manner inside a motor vehicle between a storage position and a usage position. The screen (10) has a display surface (100) that is hidden or visible in respective positions. A mask is mounted in a fixed manner on a structural element e.g. fascia (2), of a vehicle. The screen is hidden by the mask and is parallel to the mask when the screen is in the storage position. The screen is mounted in a pivoting manner around an axis (A) perpendicular to the mask.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage comportant un écran à l'intérieur d'un véhicule automobile, en particulier du type avec l'écran monté pivotant pour atteindre une position de rangement dans laquelle la surface d'affichage de l'écran est masquée. On connaît un écran de ce type par le document JP2006-282100 dans lequel un support de l'écran est fixé en plafond au pavillon d'un véhicule. L'écran est monté pivotant autour d'un axe transversal au véhicule, le long d'un bord de l'écran. Dans une position de rangement, l'écran présente une surface d'affichage faisant face au pavillon et est retenu dans cette position par un loquet s'engageant dans une gâche de l'écran. Ainsi, l'écran, et en particulier sa surface d'affichage, sont protégés contre d'éventuelles dégradations malencontreuses. Dans une position d'utilisation, l'écran a pivoté d'un angle supérieur à 90 et présente sa surface d'affichage aux yeux des utilisateurs dans le véhicule. L'invention vise donc à fournir un dispositif d'affichage qui puisse être protégé contre d'éventuelles dégradations et qui soit placé dans une position ergonomique pour le conducteur et les passagers d'un véhicule automobile. Avec cet objectif en vue, l'invention a pour objet un dispositif d'affichage comportant un écran monté pivotant à l'intérieur d'un véhicule automobile, entre une position de rangement dans laquelle la surface d'affichage de l'écran est masquée, et une position d'utilisation dans laquelle la surface d'affichage de l'écran est visible. Il comporte en outre un masque sensiblement plan et monté fixe sur une partie structurelle du véhicule, l'écran étant caché par le masque et parallèle à celui-ci lorsque l'écran est en position de rangement, l'écran étant monté pivotant autour d'un axe sensiblement perpendiculaire au masque. L'écran étant masqué par un masque intégré au dispositif, il n'est pas nécessairement placé contre une paroi interne du véhicule en position de rangement. Ceci donne plus de liberté pour le placer dans le véhicule, à un endroit le plus ergonomique possible. L'écran peut être utilisé pour un système de navigation, d'affichage d'informations concernant la radio, la lecture d'un médium, ou la climatisation... Selon une disposition particulière, l'écran a plusieurs positions d'utilisation. Du fait du pivotement selon un axe perpendiculaire au masque et donc à la surface d'affichage, l'écran peut pivoter de différents angles, ce qui lui donne différentes positions et orientations qui peuvent être adaptées à différentes utilisations. L'écran peut prendre ainsi une position à droite ou à gauche de l'axe de pivotement, et être ainsi visible de manière préférentielle par un passager ou un autre. De préférence, les positions de l'écran sont indexées. En manipulant l'écran, l'utilisateur trouve facilement la bonne position d'utilisation, et l'indexage permet de maintenir l'écran dans la position d'utilisation une fois celleùci atteinte. De manière particulière, le masque comporte des boutons de commande pour commander l'affichage sur l'écran. Le masque ayant une position fixe, il est possible d'y placer des boutons de commande, soit pour commander le dispositif d'affichage, soit aussi pour d'autres commandes du véhicule. Même si l'écran est en position de rangement, les boutons de commande restent accessibles. Selon un mode de réalisation, le dispositif comporte un piétement reliant l'élément structurel au masque, le piétement longeant un bord périphérique de l'écran lorsque l'écran est en position de rangement. Le piètement permet la fixation du masque, tout en laissant la place à l'écran pour se ranger derrière le masque. L'élément structurel du véhicule est par exemple une planche de bord. L'invention sera mieux comprise et d'autres particularités et avantages apparaîtront à la lecture de la description qui va suivre, la description faisant référence aux dessins annexés parmi lesquels . - la figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un dispositif conforme à l'invention dans une position de rangement ; les figures 2 à 4 sont des vues similaires à la figure 1, dans différentes positions d'utilisation ; - la figure 5 est une vue similaire à la figure 3 d'une variante de l'invention. Un dispositif d'affichage 1, montré sur les figures 1 à 4, est monté sur une planche de bord 2 d'un véhicule automobile. Il comporte un masque 11 de forme sensiblement rectangulaire orienté verticalement, c'est-à-dire que le plus long côté est vertical. Le masque 11 est relié à la planche de bord 2 par un piètement 12 disposé en partie inférieure du masque 11. Un écran 10 est monté pivotant autour d'un axe A sur le masque 11 de telle sorte l'écran 10 a une position de rangement dans laquelle il est caché derrière le masque il et ses bords externes coïncident sensiblement à ceux du masque 11. Le piètement 12 est suffisamment éloigné de l'axe de pivotement pour que l'écran 10 puisse se placer derrière le masque 11. Dans d'autres positions, dites d'utilisation, représentées sur les figures 2 à 4, l'écran 10 présente une surface d'affichage 100 de manière visible par un occupant du véhicule. L'écran 10 est alimenté par une unité de 30 commande, non représentée, par l'intermédiaire de fils électriques qui passent dans le piètement 12, dans le masque 11 et à travers une articulation 13 qui réalise le pivot de l'écran 10 sur le masque 11. Dans une variante du dispositif d'affichage l', représentée sur la figure 5, l'écran 10 est monté pivotant sur la planche de bord 2 et est alimenté à travers une articulation 13' qui réalise le pivot de l'écran 10 sur la planche de bord 2. Dans ce cas, le masque 11' ne comporte pas de piétement. Le masque 11 comporte trois boutons 110 de 10 commande répartis verticalement, dont un centré sur l'axe de pivotement de l'écran 10. L'invention n'est pas limitée au mode de réalisation qui vient d'être décrit uniquement à titre d'exemple. The screen can thus take a position to the right or left of the pivot axis, and thus be visible preferentially by a passenger or another. Preferably, the positions of the screen are indexed. By manipulating the screen, the user easily finds the right position of use, and the indexing makes it possible to maintain the screen in the position of use once that reached. In particular, the mask has control buttons for controlling the display on the screen.
