Une telle réalisation est particulièrement adaptée à la réalisation d'appuis-tête 15 par la technologie in situ, qui consiste à confectionner une coiffe 5, à la retourner par un orifice prévu à cet effet de sorte à cacher les zones d'assemblage, notamment les coutures 12 des parties 6,7, à disposer une armature 3 dans la coiffe 5 et à la faire passer par les orifices 8, à disposer ladite coiffe pourvue de ladite armature dans un moule, à injecter un mélange 20 précurseur de mousse dans ladite coiffe de sorte à la surmouler et à démouler l'appui-tête 1 obtenu. L'étanchéité créée entre les orifices 8 et l'armature 3 permet de garantir le non passage de mousse hors de la coiffe 5.
