Abstract

The structure has flexible cells (2) fixed on a flexible wall (1) by stitchings and each cell including a bottom part with holes for evacuating excess of spray water. The cells are opened in upper part and closed in lower part so as to form pockets (3) for receiving a substrate such as ground or loam, to cultivate plants/flowers. Envelopes (4) are stitched to the wall for sliding a bar to support an assembly of the wall and the envelopes, and to fix the assembly to a vertical surface to be covered.

Description

La présente invention permet de remédier à ces inconvénients.  to grow plants or flowers on a substantially vertical surface to cover vegetation. The flexible structure is modular and can cover easily modifiable the surface of a wall, railing, railing or any substantially vertical surface that is desired to cover with vegetation, after fixing on it. By design, the installation and removal are very easy and storage before installation or after removal. In addition, the main material used allows to choose from a large number of colors making the structure particularly attractive even before the plants cover it. It also makes it possible to modify the shape of the structure to adapt to the shape of the surface that one wishes to cover with vegetation. Devices already described or patented to achieve the vegetal cover of a vertical surface generally comprise rigid structures, including or not receptacles themselves themselves generally rigid forming an assembly difficult to assemble, install and transport. The present invention overcomes these disadvantages.

It consists in fact of a flexible main material such as a heavy canvas coated (type tarpaulin truck) or a plastic film (PVC, polyethylene, or equivalent), or a rolled cloth (big bag type) coated or not, or a geotextile felt. The structure according to the invention comprises, according to a first characteristic, a main wall on which are fastened by seam or welding cells closed at the bottom and open at the top in which may be placed a substrate (earth or compost or equivalent) allowing the growing flowers or plants. According to particular embodiments: the cells can be arranged in horizontal rows, each row being offset from the previous one so that the openings of the cells are staggered with respect to each other thus facilitating their filling and the grows plants. û a set of sleeves can be formed in the upper part and in the lower part so as to slip bars to fix the structure to the chosen support (wall, guardrail, etc.) and support all as well as to secure several vertical walls to make an assembly covering a larger area. Intermediate sheaths on the contrary make it possible to reduce the surface by cutting. eyelets or rings can be positioned on the surface to allow the fixing of the structures to the chosen support (wall, railing, etc.) and support all as well as to secure several vertical walls to each other to achieve an assembly covering a larger vertical surface. holes may be provided in the lower part of the cells so as to let out the excess irrigation water and prevent rotting plants. each cell may be equipped with a horizontal intermediate wall supporting a geotextile felt which itself falls into the lower part of the cell so as to raise the water accumulated in the intermediate portion of the cell by capillarity and allow to humidify the substrate thus making it possible to space the waterings. In this case, a hole of overflow of water can be achieved at the height of the intermediate wall in the wall of the cell. - On the back of the main wall can be attached by sewing or welding a sheet of geotextile felt covering the entire surface and attached to the back of the new wall thus formed, a third wall similar to the first having a network of cells to receive the humidification water can be realized. A set of holes in the walls on either side of the geotextile felt will allow moisture transported by capillarity by the geotextile felt to moisten the planting substrate.

The cells intended to receive the humidifying water can communicate with each other and be accessible on the side of the wall to facilitate their filling. If the main wall is made of geotextile felt, we can achieve this particular mode without intermediate wall, the main wall in lieu. 5 - the flexible materials used for the realization of the structure can be cut to reduce the number of cells and adapt to the dimensions of the medium that it is desired to cover vegetation. - Vertical reinforcements may be made on the banks of the main wall, for example in the form of a welded or sewn hem, which can itself contain a plastic rod so that these banks do not deform. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents in perspective the invention in its simplest form. Figure 2 shows in section the invention in the same form. Figure 3 illustrates the installation of a bar in the sleeves, and the connection of two structures one above the other.

Figure 4 shows a cross section of a variant of the invention. Figure 5 shows in longitudinal section the same variant of the invention. Figure 6 shows a cross section another variant of the invention. With reference to these drawings, the structure comprises a wall (1), on which are sewn or welded cells (2), forming pockets (3) which will be filled with substrate 20 for the cultivation of plants or flowers. Sleeves (4) welded or sewn to the wall (1) allow to slide a bar (5) to support the assembly and fix it to the surface that is to be covered. These sleeves (4) also allow to secure two structures by passing the same bar in the lower and upper sleeves of the two structures.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, each cell (2) has a welded or sewn internal horizontal wall (6) supporting a length of geotextile felt (7) falling in the lower part of the cell and allowing by capillary action humidifying the deposited substrate in the cell (2). An overflow orifice (8) pierced either on the rear face or on the front face makes it possible to evacuate the excess of trickling water at the time of watering. An embodiment not illustrated is to make the wall (6) of geotextile felt to combine the walls (6) and (7) in one. In the embodiment of FIG. 6, a geotextile felt surface (9) is attached to the rear of the wall (1). A wall (10) and cells (11) are arranged by welding or sewing on this felt (9). A set of holes (12) of the walls allows the water filling the cells (11) at the time of watering to communicate by capillarity with the substrate disposed in the pockets (3) and humidify it. The cells (11) communicate with each other in horizontal rows so as to allow their filling by the side of the wall (1). The sleeves (4) for fixing the structure to the vertical object to be covered are arranged either on the wall (10) or on the cells (11).
