Abstract

The bumper (2) has reinforcement parts each comprising a plain vertical face (20) extending in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of a beam (6). The parts are disposed above the beam and opposite to an inner face (16) of a skin (4), remote from the face (16). Each part is fixed to the beam and a front side of a wall (17) respectively by lower end (26) and rear upper end (27) of the part, where outer and inner sides (22, 30) of the part are free.

L'invention concerne les pare-chocs de véhicule.The invention relates to vehicle bumpers.

Les pare-chocs de véhicule sont généralement dotés d'une peau destinée à contenir et à masquer les pièces du pare-chocs prévues pour absorber l'énergie d'un choc éventuel. La peau est un élément mince et souple qui renferme un volume essentiellement vide. Dans le but de donner une impression de robustesse à l'utilisateur du véhicule et d'assurer de bons accostages de la peau avec les éléments de carrosserie environnants, on cherche à rigidifier la peau du pare-chocs.  The vehicle bumpers are generally provided with a skin designed to contain and mask the parts of the bumper provided to absorb the energy of a possible impact.
