Abstract
The lamp has a body (1) including a concave mirror at its base and an open end, opposite to the base, closed by an optical window (7). An oblong leak-proof bulb (9) enclosing noble gas is provided with an anode (11) and a cathode (12) at its opposite ends and has a trigger electrode supplied with 10 kilo voltage. One end of the bulb is fixed to the body in the vicinity of the summit of the mirror and another end is fixed to the window.
