Accessoire (10) de véhicule automobile, qui, lorsqu'il est en position montée dans une ouverture (40) ménagée dans un support donné (38), comporte une surface (12) présentant une face extérieure (14) orientée vers l'habitacle (18) du véhicule et une face intérieure (16) portant un moyen de réception (20) d'une fonction technique de l'accessoire, caractérisé en ce que l'accessoire (10) comporte deux moyens de fixation de type différent (22,26), l'un des moyens de fixation (22) étant utilisé lorsque le sens d'introduction de l'accessoire (10) dans le support (38) donné est dirigé vers l'habitacle (18) et l'autre moyen de fixation (26) étant utilisé lorsque le sens d'introduction de l'accessoire (10) dans le support (38) donné est dirigé depuis l'habitacle (18).
