Abstract

Le dispositif de régulation de l'invention comprend un échangeur de chaleur (5) présentant une entrée (4 ) et une sortie (18) pour des gaz circulant le long d'une ligne d'échappement, une dérivation (2) apte à être traversée par lesdits gaz, des moyens de distribution (26) pour transmettre les gaz, soit par l'intermédiaire de la dérivation (2), soit par l'intermédiaire de l'échangeur de chaleur (5), soit de façon partagée entre ces deux directions, le dispositif comprenant un boîtier (3, 19, 24) accueillant au moins les moyens de distribution (26) et la dérivation (2), l'entrée (4) et/ou la sortie (18) de l'échangeur de chaleur étant situées à la surface dudit boîtier. Application à la régulation thermique des gaz d'échappement des véhicules automobiles.
