Emballage en un matériau semi-rigide, apte à être équipé d'un sac interne en une matière souple destiné à recevoir les produits conditionnés.
La présente invention concerne un emballage en un matériau semi-rigide, tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, apte à être équipé d'un sac interne en un matériau souple, par exemple en matière plastique, destiné à recevoir les produits conditionnés. L'invention concerne également le flan en un matériau semi-rigide, prédécoupé et refoulé, destiné à la réalisation de cet emballage.
Des emballages de ce type général sont bien connus dans la technique et ils sont utilisables pour le conditionnement de produits ou de matériaux variés dans le sac, encore dénommé "sache", qu'ils comportent.
On les emploie en particulier dans les cliniques ou les hôpitaux, pour y conditionner des déchets hospitaliers, et, lorsque les sacs sont pleins, on les évacue vers un lieu de stockage en vue ensuite de les incinérer.
Il est donc souhaitable de pouvoir disposer d'un moyen simple et facile à mettre en u̇vre pour fermer ces sacs sur les lieux d'emploi, sans les extraire de l'emballage associé, et c'est ce problème que l'invention se propose de résoudre.
A cet effet, l'invention propose un emballage en un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, cet emballage comprenant un fond, des parois latérales articulées entre elles par des lignes de pliage parallèles et perpendiculaires au fond et, à sa partie supérieure, des volets articulés sur les parois par des lignes de pliage perpendiculaires aux précédentes, ces volets ou "rabats" étant destinés à être rabattus perpendiculairement aux parois attenantes et à être assemblés entre eux par tout moyen connu dans la technique pour fermer l'emballage, cet emballage étant apte à recevoir à l'intérieur un sac en une matière souple, par exemple en matière plastique, destiné aux articles ou produits à conditionner, cet emballage étant caractérisé en ce que l'un de ses rabats comporte, à partir d'un bord libre,une échancrure présentant deux côtés qui convergent vers la partie centrale du rabat, où ils se raccordent à une ouverture de dimensions plus importantes que celle séparant ces côtés de l'échancrure au niveau de leur raccordement, de manière à pouvoir tordre l'extrémité d'un sac plein de l'emballage pour l'amener dans cette ouverture par la dite échancrure et à fermer ensuite cette extrémité au-dessus du rabat, par exemple à l'aide d'un lien ou d'un ruban adhésif ou en effectuant manuellement un simple n u̇d.
L'échancrure du rabat pourra avoir une forme en V ou y s'évasant vers l'extérieur et dont la pointe est raccordée à l'ouverture de la partie centrale du rabat, cette ouverture pouvant être circulaire, oblongue ou de toute autre forme et ayant simplement pour but d'enserrer l'extrémité repliée du sac.
On notera qu'à part cet aménagement de l'un des rabats, l'emballage peut être absolument quelconque, en forme de prisme droit à section carrée ou rectangulaire, et son fond peut être à rabats, automatique, semi-automatique ou de tout autre type.
De préférence, le rabat modifié conformément à l'invention aura une longueur, perpendiculairement à la ligne de pliage par laquelle il est raccordé à la paroi attenante, supérieure à la moitié de la distance séparant cette paroi de la paroi opposée, de manière à pouvoir disposer sur ce rabat l'ouverture recevant l'extrémité repliée sur elle-même du sac plein en un emplacement tel qu'en position rabattue du rabat, cette ouverture se trouve sensiblement dans la partie centrale de la section transversale correspondante de l'emballage, c'est à dire à équidistance des parois opposées.
L'emballage qui vient d'être défini, prééquipé d'un sac interne en une matière souple, notamment en matière plastique, qui peut être ou non solidaire de l'emballage, constitue un autre objet de l'invention.
Enfin, un troisième objet de l'invention est constitué par le flan en un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, prédécoupé et refoulé, à partir duquel est mis en forme l'emballage conforme à l'invention, ce flan comprenant des panneaux rectangulaires articulés entre eux par des lignes de pliage parallèles et destinés à former les parois latérales de l'emballage, une ou des parties articulées à une extrémité de ces panneaux par une ou des lignes de pliage perpendiculaires aux précédentes et destinées à former le fond de l'emballage, et des volets ou rabats articulés à l'autre extrémité de ces panneaux par des lignes de pliage alignées et perpendiculaires à celles par lesquelles les panneaux sont articulés entre eux, ce flan étant caractérisé en ce que l'un de ces rabats comporte, à partir de l'un de ses bords libres,de préférence celui opposé au panneau attenant, une échancrure présentant deux côtés qui convergent vers la partie centrale du rabat, où ils se raccordent à une ouverture de dimensions plus importantes que celle séparant ces côtés de l'échancrure au niveau de leur raccordement.
Un tel flan peut être fabriqué et mis en u̇vre selon des techniques usuelles sans entraîner de frais supplémentaires et, outre la facilité d'emploi de l'emballage conforme à l'invention, ceci constitue un avantage supplémentaire de celui-ci.
D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de cet emballage apparaîtront dans la description qui va suivre d'une de ses formes de réalisation.
Dans cette description, on se référera aux dessins schématiques annexés, sur lesquels : La Figure 1 est une vue partielle en plan du flan de carton ondulé prédécoupé et refoulé, dont est issu cet emballage ; La Figure 2 est une vue partielle en perspective de l'emballage équipé d'un sac en matière plastique empli de produits en vrac ; La Figure 3 est une vue partielle en perspective de l'emballage à moitié fermé, illustrant son mode d'utilisation.
L'emballage représenté a la forme d'un prisme droit à section rectangulaire, comprenant quatre parois latérales rectangulaires 1, 2, 3, 4, articulées entre elles par des lignes de pliage parallèles. Une bande 5, articulée par une ligne de pliage parallèle aux précédentes sur la paroi 1, est collée contre une face de la paroi 4 contiguë pour assembler l'emballage après sa mise en volume.
Une ou des parties de fond, non représentées, qui peuvent être de tout type connu dans la technique, sont articulées à l'une des extrémités des parois 1 à 4 par des lignes de pliage perpendiculaires aux précédentes et peuvent être assemblées par tout moyen connu en soi.
A l'autre extrémité des parois 1 à 4, sont articulés sur ces parois, par des lignes de pliage alignées et perpendiculaires à celles par lesquelles ces parois sont articulées entre elles, des volets de forme générale rectangulaire, respectivement 6, 7, 8, 9, destinés à être rabattus perpendiculairement aux parois attenantes pour fermer l'emballage, et appelés "rabats" pour cette raison. Ces rabats peuvent être assemblés en position rabattue par tout moyen connu dans la technique, notamment par collage.
Un sac en matière plastique 10 est logé dans l'emballage pour recevoir les produits à conditionner.
Conformément à l'invention, l'un des rabats attenant aux parois, ici le rabat 7 attenant à la paroi 2, comporte à partir de l'un de ses bords libres, ici celui non contigu à la paroi 2, une échancrure 11, ici en forme de V, dont la pointe est dirigée vers la partie centrale du volet 7, où elle se raccorde à une ouverture 12 de plus grandes dimensions, ici de forme circulaire.
Après remplissage du sac 10, il est ainsi possible, comme on le voit sur les dessins, d'enrouler sur elle-même, en la tordant, son extrémité libre, pour former un tortillon que l'on engage, tout en rabattant le volet 7, dans l'échancrure 11 de ce volet, puis dans l'ouverture 12. On peut ensuite fermer le sac en nouant l'extrémité qui dépasse du volet 7, ou à l'aide d'un lien ou d'un ruban adhésif, ceci se faisant manuellement, d'une manière extrêmement simple.
Comme il a été indiqué ci-dessus, afin que l'ouverture 12, en position rabattue du rabat 7, soit sensiblement au centre de la section correspondante de l'emballage, ce qui facilite la mise en place dans cette ouverture de l'extrémité libre du sac repliée sur elle-même, le rabat 7 a une longueur plus longue que la distance qui sépare la paroi 2 à laquelle il est attenant de la paroi opposée 4, ce qui permet de décaler la position de l'ouverture 12, tandis que le rabat 9 attenant à la paroi a une longueur plus réduite.

The packaging shown has the form of a straight prism with rectangular section, comprising four rectangular side walls 1, 2, 3, 4, hinged together by parallel fold lines. A strip 5, articulated by a fold line parallel to the previous ones on the wall 1, is glued against a face of the adjoining wall 4 to assemble the packaging after it has been placed in volume.
One or more bottom parts, not shown, which may be of any type known in the art, are articulated at one end of the walls 1 to 4 by fold lines perpendicular to the previous ones and can be assembled by any known means in itself.
