Abstract

The box (1), which is preferably made from wood, but could also be of metal or synthetic material, has four fixed walls (4, 6, 7, 8) with slots and grooves (10), and two sliding walls (3, 5). The sliding walls can be inserted through slots in one side wall (4) of the box to cover the ends of bottles during transport. To use it for storage in a horizontal position the sliding walls are withdrawn from the slots and inserted into the grooves (10) to act as partitions between the bottles.
