Abstract

The implant is made with three shaped sections - an upper section (1) with a circular or hexagonal head (1a) over a collar (1b); an intermediate cylindrical section (2) 3.8 mm in diameter and 4 mm long with upper smooth (2a) and lower grooved (2b) surfaces; and a lower section (3). The lower section is in four parts: a pointed tip (3d) for penetrating the bone, a cylindrical part (3c) for aligning it, a conical part (3b) to enlarge the bone channel, and a grooved part (3a) to prepare for the trepanation of the intermediate section.

Description

The present invention relates to a titanium dental implant with linear vertical insertion and in a single time, minimizing the operating time and reliability of the prosthetic restoration.

The traditional implementation of implants is done according to two main techniques; one concerns the rotary vertical insertion and in several times, necessitating the use of different forests with all the hazards due to the heating, infectious risks ...., the other concerns the rotational horizontal insertion which requires a very large technical mastery in addition to previous hazards.

The morphology of the invention overcomes these disadvantages. It comprises in fact according to a first characteristic three stages dividing it with regard to the upper stage a circular or hexagonal part surmounting a collar, for the intermediate stage a grooved cylinder, for the lower stage a precise morphology -se dividing it itself in four parts whose apical part allows the penetration into the bone, the part above the cylindrical ensures orientation in the space of the implant, the part above the conical widens the bone path, and the last part by its grooving prepares trepanning to the size of the intermediate stage. Under the action of a directed and predetermined shock on the upper part, the implant by its design is compacted in a direct manner in his bone box in the manner of a nail.

According to particular embodiments - the hexagonal upper part becomes circular in order to use the implant in a multi-pillar prosthetic design. - The intermediate part of the implant will be changed in length 5mm, 7mm, 9mm, in order to use a maximum of available bone imparting a stronger osseointegration of the implant. The attached drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents a projection on a horizontal plane of the upper part of the implant with its hexagonal design and its rim.

FIG. 2 is a front view showing the shape of the implant with its three stages; FIG. 3 represents a projection on a horizontal plane of the active part of the implant.

Figure 4 shows a projection on a horizontal plane of the upper part of the implant in its circular form with its flange. With reference to these drawings, the implant comprises, according to FIG. 1, a flange (1) of 4 mm of smooth diameter, a hexagonal portion (2) inscribed in a circle 3 mm in diameter, and a cavity of (3) of 2inm diameter, a depth of 4mm and a screw pitch defined according to M2 0.25; according to figure 2 we find three stages: first stage (1) of I </ B> mm of height divided in 0.5mm for the hexagonal part (1 a) and the flange part (lb); second intermediate stage (2) 5mm in height and 3.8mm in diameter divided into a portion of 1 mm mirror polished height (2a) and a 4mm high portion (2b) grooved by twelve hatches; trisiéme lower stage (3) divided into four parts of I mm each according to (3a) a groove portion of 8 hatching and 2.8mm diameter according to (3b) conical portion of 1.8mm diameter to 0.8mm diameter, according to (3c ) Smooth cylindrical part of 0.8mm in diameter and according to (3d) smooth conical part of 0.8mm of 'diameter up to the tip. According to FIG. 3, the view in a horizontal projection of the active part is described by finding in (2) the intermediate part and the ratio and drawing of the parts (3a), (3b), (3c), and (3). FIG. 4 shows the view of the projection on a horizontal plane of the upper part of the implant, the hexagonal part (2) of FIG. 1 is replaced by a circular part (2) of the same diameter. According to a variant not shown, the length of the portion (2) of FIG. 2 varies from 7 mm to 9 mm, which results in three types of implants with a total height of 1 mm, 12 mm and 14 mm. According to the mode of action, during the percussion on the upper part of the implant, the pointed part (3d) enters the bone, the patient (3c) because of its cylindrical shape serves as a directional guide, the part ( 3b) by its conical shape widens the penetration up to the diameter of the portion (3a) which penetrates through its grooving to bring the trephination diameter to 3.8mm for the passage of the grooved portion (2b) of twelve grooves up to to I </ B> mm of the collar the latter (2a) being polished mirror. The placement of the implant stops when the collar (1 b) of Figure 2 is in contact with the bone.

The object of the invention is to allow a simulation of the titanium implant in a single time along a vertical axis and a linear progression.
