Abstract

Dispositif permettant d'accéder à un service de type Internet sans avoir à en taper l'adresse complète ou exacte et à partir d'un clavier numérique. Il consiste à faire correspondre, grâce à une base de donnée accédée à distance, les chiffres ou autres informations saisies par l'utilisateur à un nom préenregistré, puis à rediriger le même utilisateur vers l'adresse du service Internet correspondant.

Description

La présente invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'accéder facilement à un service Internet depuis un clavier numérique ou tout autre moyen de saisie limité, sans avoir à en taper l'adresse complète ou exacte.
Les adresses Internet, ou URL (Uniform Resource Locator), se présentent normalement sous la forme d'un éventuel préfixe spécifiant le protocole, par exemple http:// et d'un nom de domaine. Ce nom de domaine est composé essentiellement de lettres, le plus souvent constitué d'un nom propre suivi d'un suffixe .com, .fr ou autre.
or de nombreux appareils pouvant techniquement accéder à Internet ne disposent pas d'un clavier alphanumérique complet, ce qui implique une saisie plus fastidieuse.
La présente invention consiste à simplifier l'accès à un service de type Internet, en faisant correspondre, grâce à l'interrogation d'une base de données distante, un nom de service ou une saisie abrégée de ce nom, notamment une séquence de chiffres tapée d'après les caractères sérigraphiés sur un clavier numérique, avec l'adresse Internet réelle du service, puis en redirigeant automatiquement l'utilisateur vers celle-ci.
Les principaux bénéficiaires de l'invention sont les possesseurs d'un téléphone mobile. Les claviers de téléphone mobiles montrent une correspondance usuelle entre les chiffres et les lettres : 2abc, 3def, 4ghi, 5jkl, 6mno, 7pqrs, 8tuv, 9wxyz. Habituellement, pour saisir un texte il faut taper plusieurs fois sur chaque touche pour sélectionner la lettre choisie. L'invention présente permet d'accéder à un service Internet en n'effectuant qu'une pression par touche et en se basant sur la correspondance des lettres et des chiffres apparaissant sur le clavier du téléphone lui-même. Le code envoyé au serveur est ensuite comparé aux noms enregistrés, puis l'utilisateur est redirigé automatiquement, dans le cas d'une solution unique ou bien se voit proposer une liste de choix si plusieurs services correspondent aux chiffres saisis. Par exemple, pour accéder au site http://Addresse.com/mobile/ , l'utilisateur de téléphone mobile n'a qu'à taper 23373773 pour adresse .
Le système de correspondance peut également être étendu à la recherche de noms et de mots-clés au sein de la base de données.
L'accès au service de re-direction sus-décrit est effectué à travers une zone de saisie, comportant la mention Go ou tout autre terme permettant d'indiquer à la passerelle la volonté d'accéder au service sus-décrit, ainsi que de faire comprendre à l'utilisateur qu'il va pouvoir, par ce moyen, atteindre le site Internet de son choix.

Claims (5)

REVENDICATIONS
1) Dispositif pour simplifier l'accès à des services Internet depuis un appareil sans clavier alphanumérique complet caractérisé en ce qu'il fait concorder un nom de service ou la séquence de chiffres correspondante entré(e) par l'utilisateur avec l'adresse réelle du service puis redirige l'utilisateur vers celui-ci.
2) Dispositif selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que l'accès à une base de données distante permet de déterminer la correspondance entre ce que l'utilisateur a entré et le site qu'il souhaite atteindre.
3) Dispositif selon la revendication 2 caractérisé en ce que les chiffres saisis sur un clavier numérique dont la correspondance alphabétique est indiquée sur le clavier lui-même sont envoyés vers une base de données distante permettant de déterminer la chaîne de texte correspondante parmi les enregistrements.
4) Dispositif selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que l'enregistrement dans la base de donnée de la correspondance entre le nom du service et son adresse Internet permettent de rediriger l'utilisateur vers cette dernière.
5) Dispositif selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que l'appel au service peut être effectué par le préfixe GO ou tout autre ensemble de lettres et de chiffres permettant d'indiquer à la passerelle la volonté d'accéder au service sus-décrit.
