Abstract

An automatic and self-locking safety device for pre-filled glass or plastic syringes of 0.5-3 ml in volume is made in one piece with a cylinder (1) to receive the barrel of the syringe (20), sprung vanes (12, 12b) and a clip (13b) for the plunger, fitted with a reinforcing stirrup (3, 3b, 4).
