Abstract

The heat exchanger consists of an elongated and sealed chamber (2) containing a series of parallel plates (3) forming a double circuit for the circulation of two different fluids. The chamber has inlet (12, 13; 21, 23) and outlet (15, 16; 22, 24) systems for the two fluids, and a sealed shutter (20) dividing it into two compartments (21, 22). The shutter consists of a transverse partition with a curved supple metal seal with edges applied tangentially against the surfaces of the partition and inner wall.
