Abstract

The lifting hook (1) is suspended from a cable. The hook has a body (2), an integral electromagnet (4), a safety hook (7) which closes over the opening in the hook to prevent the load escaping from the hook, and a sliding block (13) locking the safety hook in place. The mechanism is self-locking. The electromagnet is supplied through an electric cable (5), and displaces the locking block to release the safety hook. Opening of the hook is possible only when the electromagnet is electrically supplied and the load is supported, displacing the safety hook to a release position. A position sensor (14) allows the load to be displaced only when the locking block is engaged.

Sous l'action du propre poids de la charge, le crochet appuie sur le doigt, et même si le manipulateur commande par erreur l'ouverture du crochet, alors que la charge est suspendue, le doigt reste bloqué par cette action mécanique. Le système est donc auto-bloquant
