Abstract

A spoon for making an instant hot drink, e.g. of sweetened coffee, consists of a handle (1) of a food-grade plastic, ending in a projecting tongue (1'). The solid ingredients of a hot drink, e.g. sugar (2) and coffee (3) are moulded into shape on the end of the torque, creating a spoon which makes a cup of coffee when stirred into hot water until the solids have dissolved. The end of the spoon can be made from other ingredients which dissolve in hot water to make a drink, such as tea, syrup or soup.
