Abstract
Description
UTILISATION DES PROTECTIONS PERIODIQUES FEMININES EXTERNES OU INTERNES
COMME SUPPORT DE TRAITEMENTS PREVENTIFS OU CURATIFS, DE REACTIFS OU
COMME MOYEN DE PRELEVEMENT BIOLOGIQUE
1- DESCRIPTION
Différents supports sont utilisés: ovules, gélules ou gels.USE OF PERIODIC PROTECTION, EXTERNAL OR INTERNAL
AS A SUPPORT FOR PREVENTIVE OR CURATIVE TREATMENTS, REAGENTS OR
AS A BIOLOGICAL SAMPLING MEANS
1- DESCRIPTION
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The vaginal route is commonly used for the administration of drugs. Different supports are used: ova, capsules or gels.
The present patent envisages certain interesting possibilities of periodic protections, hitherto unknown, in the fields of medical diagnostics, therapeutics and hygiene products.
They remain in place for a few hours, are positioned naturally, are simple and common to handle by the women themselves and can be recovered.
During the menstrual period their use is natural and compulsory.
The protections, external and especially intravaginal, represent a real galenical tool, logical support for active principles, medicinal or other, for a microbiological flora, possibly associated with one or more vectors (for example ceramides). This support can also allow samples to be taken during the different phases of the menstrual cycle or pregnancy.
micro-capsules contenant le ou les principes actifs;
elle même, le ou un des principes actifs de par sa composition chimique;
structure physique;
Protection, whether external or intravaginal, can be:
the support of the active ingredients by its texture, the product being directly attached to the protection by
chemical bonds, electrostatic forces, or through a capsule or
microcapsules containing the active ingredient (s);
itself, the or one of the active ingredients by its chemical composition;
a biological, microbiological, cytological and / or transport tool for its
physical structure;
support for active ingredients and a sampling tool at the same time.
Many female pathologies are punctuated by cycles and are expressed precisely during the menstrual phase. It seems logical to use the natural coexistence of the support and the pathology.
physiques, chimiques ou micro-organismes (levures ou bacilles);
Thérapeutique: au moment d'une symptomatologie physiologique ou pathologique;
(pH, dépistage microbiologique);
Contraception / fertilité: dépistage etlou modification etlou destruction de la glaire cervicale;
Obstétrique: prévention etlou traitement des contractions pathologiques;
Periodic protection can therefore be the subject of several types of applications in various fields related to physiology or female pathologies:
Prevention: based on menstrual periodicity, the support allows the application of agents
physical, chemical or micro-organisms (yeasts or bacilli);
Therapeutic: at the time of a physiological or pathological symptomatology;
Screening: swab specimen holders, cervical mucus, reagent holder
(pH, microbiological screening);
Contraception / fertility: screening and / or modification and / or destruction of cervical mucus;
Obstetrics: prevention and / or treatment of pathological contractions;
membrane rupture screening,
reality of a threat of premature birth,
induction of childbirth; Mechanical restraint to prevent or treat urinary incontinence
STATE OF THE PRIOR ART
The vaginal route has been used for a long time to administer treatments, drugs in particular, in the form of tablets, ova, creams. We have never seen the idea of using periodic protections appear as a treatment or diagnostic support in medical publications intended for specialists in gynecology-obstetrics.
However the interest of such a process is beyond doubt by the efficiency and the comfort which it brings.
Tablets and eggs have many disadvantages of use compared to periodic protections. Their implementation is restrictive and often not optimal for good bioavailability of the active ingredient. During the period of menstruation one cannot derive any advantage from this physiological specificity. In any case, the pouring effect, practically constant for the ova or the tablets, generally requires the use of protections.
Finally, only periodic protections allow direct debits or their transport.
