Abstract

The piston lock (1) has a rotor (3) rotating in a stator (2) and having piston-counterpiston pairs which slide radially against the action of return springs under the action of a key (10) sliding in a key channel (7) of the rotor. The stator has a peripheral collar on its inner wall (2a) which extends radially and has a recess (4a). The rotor has at least one peripheral groove (5) to engage the collar during mounting of the rotor. The rotor has a locking piece (6) having a projection (6a) and movably mounted against the action of a spring (8) in the rotor along the axis of the rotor. The locking piece can move between a position in which the projection engages the recess and groove and a position in which they are released.
