Abstract

The indicator system has a central box (1) containing the electronic circuit board, a battery (6), the direction indicators and the stop indicator. This box is fitted to the bicycle where the indicators will be visible to motorists. A generator (2), an indicator selector switch (3) and a microswitch (10) for the stop indicator are mounted separately on the bicycle. The generator is driven when the bicycle is in motion and charges the battery. The selector switch is mounted in an easily accessible position, and the microswitch is mounted on the braking system. The central box is mounted so that it is easily removed to prevent theft when the bicycle is parked.
