Abstract

The ligature has a plate (C) which is angled or formed as a segment of a cylinder of a greater radius to that of the heel of the reed (a) to prevent a lateral play. Four wires (F) of small diameter have a length adapted to each model of mouthpiece and are brazed at one of their ends onto the plate to allow play with the side of the reed and at their other ends to cylindrical lugs (P). A retaining screw (V) extends through the cylinders to allow progressive tightening of the assembly.

fixation de l'anche sur le bec d'un instrument à vent.

On rencontre différents types de ligatures amovibles et indépen
dantes du bec que l'on peut classer en 2 grandes catégories principales
1. Les ligatures en métal (ou matériau rigide) formant un
collier plat de serrage.

de 4 fils. Ceux-ci sont fixés à une plaque cambrée maintenant l'anche
et réunis en partie supérieure du bec (diamétralement opposée à l'anche)
par 2 plots cylindriques traversés d'une vis de serrage.
