Abstract

The device includes a box (1) with a rectangular opening through which a glass blade (L1) can slide. A spring (4) normal to the long side of the opening fixes the blade during the operation. A stop (5) maintains the blade in a vertical position. The device is manipulated so that the exposed extremity of the blade comes in contact with the surface of a fixed blade on which a blood sample has been placed. The box opposite extremity has a rounded tip (6) resting on the same surface on which the fixed blade has been placed.
