Abstract

The nozzle (1) includes a small collar (6) of dimensions greater than those of a typical nostril, situated between a base portion (2) and a dispensing spray head (5). The collar is situated at a distance from the spray head to limit its possible penetration within the nostril to a depth of about 10mm. The collar may be formed as a separate component of flexible plastics, oval in shape and including an eccentric hole through which the spray head may be passed for removable friction fastening. Alternatively the collar may be moulded around the rigid plastics spray head, or injection moulded as an integral portion of the spray head.
