Abstract

A pill dispenser consists of a housing (1) containing a rotary dispensing cylinder which is turned by a motor (15), and equipped with a sound alarm (25) which is set off when the pills drop onto a sensor plate. The cylinder motor can be either electric or mechanical, and the pills are dispensed through a series of trap doors operated by cams (23). The cylinder is divided into seven compartments corresponding to the days of the week, and the pills can be dispensed from them into drawers or a trough. The sound alarm can be shut off manually by a switch (13), while a push button (5) enables the cylinder to be unlocked for filling.

La fréquence des prises et la multiplicité des produits utilisés en homéopathie est l'inconvénient majeur du traitement. Face aux problèmes d'oubli, aux difficultés de lecture des ordonnances, à la compréhension du traitement, il n'existait pas à notre connaissance jusqu'à ce jour, un appareil permettant de faciliter le traitement des patients soignés en homéopathie.
