Abstract

The flood guard, designed to prevent flood waters from entering homes through doors or windows, consists of curved PVC panels (2) fixed to a semi-circular base plate, seals and steel reinforcing wires (6) with hooks (8) and tensioners (7). The outer ends of the PVC panels have U-section edges with seals for the doorway or window aperture. The guard is made to the required height by using a series of panels which are fitted together one on top of the other by interlocking sealed joints and fixings. Each panel is, for example, 25, 30 or 40 cm in height.

- la comière du bas (3) n'existe pas
- la plaque de base (1) est munie en dessous et au bord inférieur de sa partie drnlte, d'un joint (G-ng.lo) colle.
