Abstract

The floor structure has a flat load bearing surface (10) whose transverse rear edge (11) is adjacent to the sill (12) of an access opening. An even number of seat guides (15a-d) run longitudinally of the structure, spaced regularly along the width of the rear edge. A series of secondary longitudinal guide members (25) run parallel to the seat guides along part of their length, with a transverse spacing from each other equal to that of the main seat guides. The main and secondary guides are connected by short transverse guides (26) at intervals. The guides are profiled channel members shaped to cooperate with rollers or skids on the lower ends of seat legs.
