Abstract

The chair is made by folding a semi-rigid sheet with a central part (1-8) which forms the seat (6), back (5) and front part (7). Two wings (9-14), on either side of the central part, form the arm rests (12,13,14) and the lateral parts (10) of the chair.Tongues (11) on the ends of the wings fix them to the central part and flaps (9) on one side overlap under the seat. The back and seat are joined by a fold (E) and are interdependent. A flap (8), on the end of the central part, folds under the seat to stiffen it.
