Abstract

The motor has permanent magnets (3,4) and its rotor (5) arranged within an armature (2) open at both ends (6,9). One end (6) accepts a rear flange (7) with a rotor guidance bearing (8). The other end (9) receives the brush-holder module (10) as well as a front flange (11) with another rotor guidance bearing (12). Vibration and noise during operation of the motor are reduced by a preferably silicone-based cap (13) fitted or moulded onto the module, with circumferential projections and recesses (14) for co-operation with complementary parts of the armature.
