Abstract

The packaging is cut out from a single card of non tearable material and then folded. The packaging has a clamping collars (10,11) for fixing it to a piece of cutlery (2) in a zone narrower than its handle (4). A folded part forms a projecting base (14) which has an opening (16) for housing the other end of the handle. The clamping collars are normally not detachable and are threaded on the card through holes (18,46). The projecting base is held in position to conform with the clamping collars by a rear flap (20) in the card edging extending from just after the first holes (46). The card is suspended by means of a cut-out (40) and slots (44) allow observation of the end of the cutlery handle.
