Abstract

The cabinet has a door (11) hinged from an upright (14) by a hinge (24). The edge of the door is rolled inward to improve appearance and make the door panel more rigid. The hinge fits over the rolled edge. The hinge has two parts (24A,24B), one fixed to the upright and the moving part fixed to the edge of the door panel. The fixed part of the hinge has a bracket with an eye (41) to accept the hinge pin (25). The moving part is fitted into the curve of the door edge, and has upper and lower horizontal plates that fit on either side of the bracket extending from the upright. The two parts are aligned before the pin is dropped through the holes in the fixed and moving part of the hinge.
