Abstract

The electric connection unit is of the type which has a base (7) and a cover (8) as well as a clip (4) which fixes the unit inside the hollow public lighting support. The retaining clip (4) includes grips (23,24,26,27) which enable the unit to be securely held and easily removed from the front of the unit. The grips (23,24,26,27) form part of sides (21,22) and are designed to locate in slots (17) formed in the base (7) of the connection unit.
