Abstract

The partition consists of floor and ceiling members (4,3) which are generally rectangular in section, with usable inner spaces and fixings. The two members (3,4) are identical in shape and have open sides facing towards one another, with grooves for seals along the inner edges of their side walls. The base of each member contains an additional inner U-section member with the edges of its side walls turned inwards and a common base with the member itself. Other rectangular-section members (15,21) are used to contain single- or double-glazed panels set in the partition, and the partition itself is made from double panels (10,11,19,20) fitted between the ceiling and floor members.
