Abstract

The appts. has a terminal plate (1) in contact with the human body connected by a conductor to a diode (2) and capacitor (3) connected in parallel. The circuit is connected to ground (5) through a series resistor (4) which limits the rate of flow of discharge current. Electric charge accumulating on the body passes through the circuit regardless of polarity. The circuit prevents the accumulation of charge on the human body which is regarded as detrimental to health. ADVANTAGE - Improved health by discharge of accumulated charge from human body.
