Abstract

Device built into a lighter enabling a cigarette to be cut and housed. The device consists of a body (1) in which a slotted tube (7) serving as a case is embedded. Built into the base of the lighter is a cutting mechanism consisting of a pushing member (3) incorporating a steel blade (10), this pushing member (3) being guided laterally directly by the body (1) and in elevation by the lid (2). A tube (6) is fitted into the lid (2). After having opened the flap (5), the cigarette (11) is inserted. A slider (4) slides into the slot (9) so as to adjust the cutting height. Slight pressure on the pushing member (3) severs the end of the cigarette and a spring (8) returns the pushing member (3) to its rest position.

DESCRIPTION
La presente invention concerne un dispositif pour couper et loger une cigartte, l'ensemble etant integre dans un briquet. L'originalité de l'invention se caracterise par le fait que le fumeur peut a tout moment couper le bout de sa cigarette allumee au lieu de la jeter chaque fois que la situation l'y oblige, et de la conserver en reserve grace a l'invention.
