Abstract

The invention relates to a support (1) for a linkage (10) of the type made up of a fastening base (2) from which there extends a carrying arm (8), at the free end (8a) of which is formed a bearing (9) intended for the passage of the linkage (10) upon assembly, and to make sure that it is retained via immobilising means, characterised in that the immobilising means (13) are made up of a finger (14) sliding freely inside a longitudinal housing (11) of the carrying arm (8) in order to emerge radially in the bearing (9) and interact with the linkage (10) under the action of an entrainment force exerted on the said finger (14).
