Abstract

The invention relates to a package comprising a container body closed by a lid and a tamper-evident band encircling the container. This band (3) forms a loop encircling the container by being applied against the bottom and side faces of the container body and against the upper surface of the lid (2). The package furthermore comprises means of fixing the band (3) in its position encircling the container.
