Abstract

The invention relates to a motorised apparatus enabling the water content of liquid honey, which is at a temperature of approximately 20 to 25 DEG , to be reduced without heating. It consists of a container (1) in which are placed: - a tank (2) for the liquid honey. - a rotary unit (3) having 25 discs (4), the function of which is to increase the surface area of the honey which is in contact with the air. - a condensation system (5) with a recovery container (6). - a fan built into the condensation system. - a sealed and transparent lid (8) to cover the whole apparatus. The apparatus according to the invention is particularly designed to improve the storage properties of harvested honey, before it is stored. The moisture reduction rate is approximately 2% in 24 hours.
