Abstract

The invention relates to a hand-held showerhead having two functions, a function of spraying continuous water jets, in the manner of a shower, as well as a function of spraying microdroplets in the manner of an atomiser, which enables a very large saving in water to be made, coupled with washing (cleaning) imparting a very high degree of well-being. It is constituted by a water inlet opening (1) connected to a cylindrical body (2) pierced with a conduit over its entire length in order to allow water to flow, and with a head (3), of spherical shape, connected to the water supply and fitted with a change-over cock (6) delivering the water via conduits either to the jet-spraying orifice (4) or to the 3 microdroplet-spraying nozzles (5), which are intended to spray the water in very fine particles of mist when the hand-held showerhead is put under pressure with the aid of the water supply hose (7) and when the change-over cock (6) is in the mist-creating position. This hand-held showerhead according to the invention is particularly intended for bathrooms, baths, showers and any other hydrotherapy appliances.
