Abstract

Disengageable clamp for automatic fastening and detachment of vehicles to and from the traction cable. Clamp, of the type consisting of a fixed jaw (3) and a moving jaw (4), the said fixed jaw (3) being arranged in a support pin (5) for the said vehicle, and the said moving jaw (4) extending in a control lever (6) provided with a roller (7) for controlling its opening and its closing on the said bearing cable (2), in cooperation with the said fixed jaw (3), and an elastic means (8) acting between the said support pin (5) and the said control lever (6), characterised in that the elastic means (8) consists of one or more coil springs (11), (12) which are coaxial and are mounted on the take-up axis of the suspension (9), the force of the springs (11), (12) being transmitted to the control lever via a connecting rod (13) acting on the said control lever (6). The invention applies, in particular, to cable car (gondola lift) vehicles.
