Abstract

The subject of the present invention is a device for absorbing a shock tending to move two components away from one another. According to the invention, this device comprises a metallic tubular body (1) capable of being connected to one of the two components, an expansible element (3a-3b) which is located in the body while being axially immobilized with respect to it and the external diameter of which is substantially equal to the internal diameter of the body (1), this expansible element being pierced in its centre with a frustoconical axial hole (6), and an expander cone (7) which has the same conicity as the hole in the said element (2-3) and is engaged in this hole and capable of being connected to the other component.
