Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to protect several credit or payment cards against use by persons other than the holder. It consists of a box (3) having a drawer (2) in which one or more cards (1) are inserted. The user sets up the correct combination (4) and, when he pushes the drawer (2) into the box (3), a tenon (7) engages in a mortice (6) of the drawer (2). With the combination (4) scrambled, the drawer (2) containing the card or cards can no longer be withdrawn from the box (3).
