Abstract

The invention relates to an isothermal container which is noteworthy in that it comprises at least one compartment at least partly delimited by walls 1 made from a heat insulating material which is permeable to gases, the said walls being provided with a plurality of housings 2 intended to receive blocks of solid gas 3 whose shapes match those of the said housings. The invention is particularly well suited for ensuring that a packaged product is kept within a defined temperature range.
