Abstract

The subject of the invention is a material for a moulding shell (casing). This material is noteworthy in that it consists of a sheet of elastic and impermeable covering material, one of the faces of the said sheet being coated with a layer of material which can be press-formed (stamped). Application to the production of various moulded articles made of composite plastics.

On a donc songé à introduire, dès l'accomplissement des opérations de moulage, des matériaux de revêtement afin d'échapper à cette nécessité. Des difficultés sont toutefois apparues en raison de la perméabilité de ces matériaux aux produits employés pour le moulage et également en raison de leur faible rigidité ne leur permettant pas d'adopter et de conserver les formes souhaitées de l'objet moulé. The phenomenal development of these materials manifested itself mainly by their use in the realization of the most diverse objects interesting practically all the industries. * on place ladite gaine dans un moule conventionnel; ; et
* on injecte dans ladite gaine une produit expansible.
