Abstract

L'arme dont le barillet 1 comprend au moins sept chambres, est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend un arbre étoilé rotatif 11 à mouvement intermittent, coaxial au barillet 1 et agencé de façon à pouvoir saisir et entraîner en rotation les cartouches une par une, tout en leur permettant de s'y déplacer en translation, une rampe hélicodale fixe 14 coopérant avec le culot des cartouches pour combiner à leur mouvement de rotation intermittent un mouvement de translation intermittent à l'intérieur de l'arbre étoilé afin d'assurer leur transport jusqu'au poste de mise de feu dans les chambres respectives de barillet, un tiroir 4 à mouvement de translation alternatif commandé par emprunt de gaz pour assurer l'entraînement intermittent en rotation du barillet, et des moyens mécaniques pour synchroniser les mouvements de rotation de l'arbre étoilé à ceux du barillet.
