Abstract

According to this process, there is formed on the back of a label or sleeve 1 made of transparent film, already bearing the conventional imprint of a decoration 4 or of identification or suchlike particulars, the imprint of another decoration or of an inscription or graphic design 5 intended to be invisible under normal conditions, this being achieved by making this second imprint by means of a synthetic resin solubilised in a solvent and comprising an optical brightening product, so that the print thus made can be made visible only by subjecting the pack bearing this label or sleeve to ultraviolet radiation. The invention also relates to the labels or decorative sleeves thus produced. The invisible marking or decoration which is thus obtained can be provided for the most diverse purposes, for example: checking, the awarding of a free gift, novel decoration, etc.
